Artist Note: I feel this is a favorite pieces -plural intended. Late in his life, Edward Johnston [see "Journal"] said: "I haven't done my best work yet, and I never will." This work is unique in its publications and final resting place.
Jet-black Winsdsor/Newton Gouache, Butterfly folded pen, on 9 x 14" white Ingress paper. Watercolor and a pointed brush later added color.
